Learning for Life
This programme is for learners who need to develop important ‘life skills’ and has been designed around the themes of Healthy Living, Expressive Arts and Design, Community Involvement, Personal and Self-Development. This may be more appropriate for learners who need some support to re-engage back into the curriculum at school, college or wherever they learn. This can also be delivered as a short course to compliment other learning.

Aspirations
This programme is designed for learners who are at pre-Apprenticeship level and is based around the foundation learning model. These qualifications are aimed at learners that have a real ‘work ready’ attitude who need to develop important commercial awareness. Qualifications have been chosen with a strong emphasis on building working life ownership, increasing participation and strengthening working confidence to be able to foster and promote a positive working attitude.
Main aims:
Work Life Taster
This programme is designed for learners who are work ready and need to develop specific industry and employability skills. The programme also includes collaborative delivery of Vocationally Related Qualifications (VRQs). This programme includes preparation for work, health and safety in the workplace, work taster, industry visits and industry linked projects. Learners will develop valuable ‘work skills’ in key areas such as communication, positive presentation, problem solving and effective teamwork.
